"The Snowbird" in Watercolor!
"No winter lasts forever. No spring fails to appear."
Here in New England, we call those who travel south for the winter "snowbirds". However, this adorable little English robin has elected to stay and enjoy the charms of our snowy winter season.
The lesson features a complimentary color palette of orange and blue while exploring the technique of visual color mixing to create exciting contrasts. Special effects will include using salt, an X-Acto knife for fine details, and a circle stencil template to create a magical "bokeh" effect in the background.
This beautiful "Snowbird" E-packet .pdf slide deck includes complete step-by-step instructions with links to the pattern template and resource photos.
