In the garden tulips grow,
Straight and golden in a row;
Each one holds its empty cup
Drinking rain and sunshine up. A poem by V.W. Lachicotte
I am not a gardener, but I respect all the hard work and patience that goes into cultivating such beauty. And I can show my passion for the garden's colorful palette by painting these cups of sunshine in watercolor! There are two versions of this painting - a large 11x14 inch size and a smaller 5x7 inch trio - both are yours to enjoy. In this lesson we will focus on wet-into-wet color blending using a palette of primary and secondary colors. It's all about the water!
