Indian corn comes in an endless variety of shapes, sizes, and colors that reflect the autumn season. Bittersweet vine is popular for decorating, but beware! If the seeds of this invasive plant drop in your yard, the stubborn vines will take hold forever!
For our October Live Online Class, I've designed an autumn still life depicting an arrangement of Indian corn and bittersweet against a barn wood background. My original painting is pictured above; however, I've revised the corn in the pattern template to improve the shapes. The bittersweet vines and dry husks would make a great painting on their own, as well. The cast shadows against the barn wood add depth and make everything pop!
This live online class is hosted on Zoom. The 2-hour lesson includes:
