"Flag Day" in Watercolor
Hurrah! for the red, white, and blue! In this painting, I scaled the pattern to fit a 12-inch x 16-inch paper size. With the larger format, it was easier to protect the stars with masking fluid before applying the beautiful blue field. My final work is displayed in a 16-inch x 20-inch frame under a white mat, and it is glorious! The entire process is documented in this bountiful Video/E-Packet Bundle.
