Here on Cape Cod, Memorial Day Weekend heralds the unofficial beginning of the summer season. A time of sunlit skies, warm sandy beaches, and flowering white, pink, and blue hydrangeas on display everywhere!
Please join me NEXT TUESDAY, JUNE 2nd, to paint "Belle Jardiniere" - a rustic tin bucket overflowing with lacy summer hydrangeas. We'll again play with lost edges and contrasts to draw attention to areas of interest and resist overworking the details. This lovely project will be satisfying nd enjoyable for watercolor painters of all skill levels. A video recording of the class will be available following the live presentations.
"Belle Jardiniere" - Hydrangeas will be presented in our Zoom studio. The 2-hour lesson includes:
- The Class Information File (.pdf) (includes the supplies list, Zoom access link, preparation notes, and resource links)
- a printable .pdf slide deck tutorial with complete step-by-step instructions and links to helpful references
- links to a folder containing the main pattern and reference photos (included in the CIF)
- unlimited access to a recorded, ad-free video replay following the class.
"Belle Jardiniere" will be presented live at two convenient class times on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 10:00 AM with an encore presentation at 7:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time/US).
